A man was arrested after allegedly forcing open a window into a Buckhannon residence following an argument with his ex-girlfriend.

A man was charged with malicious assault after police said he shot a person in the back with a BB or pellet gun from a passing car in Buckhannon. He allegedly told police he had been involved in other shooting incidents that night as well.
