Sam’s Pizza surged into a first-place tie with First Community Bank at 94 points in the Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League after a 27½-12½ rout of Lynx WV. First Community Bank tied Lisa Cain Edward Jones, while Evan Coffman won Low Actual (35) and Jerry Cochran took Low Net (30).
The Mountain East Conference has approved adding Shawnee State University as its 12th full-time member, with official entry set for July 2026 pending NCAA Division II acceptance. SSU will compete in 19 of 23 sports and plans to launch football by 2028.
