Blonda Ray Dawson, 89, and Hilda Mae Dawson, 82, both of Buckhannon, died April 12, 2024, and October 1, 2024. A joint memorial service celebrating their lives, 67-year marriage, and faith will be held Saturday, April 18, at 2:00 p.m.

Dorene Tenney, 61, of Buckhannon, passed away on April 12, 2026, at Holbrook Healthcare Center. She was a nursing assistant, devoted wife to Samuel Wade Tenney, and a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.

Lenna Lewis Sturm, 100, of Nutter Fort, WV, passed away on April 9, 2026. She was a longtime nurse and devoted member of Vincent Memorial Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.

Charles Allen, 93, of Buckhannon, died April 11, 2026, at Holbrook Healthcare Center following an extended illness. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Western Union and the railroad.

Linda Reaser of West Virginia died April 9, 2026, in Marietta, Ohio, after a prolonged illness. She was a community volunteer, baker, and owner of The Crafty Peddler in Harrisville.

William Bane (Bill) Hicks III, 82, of Buckhannon, WV, passed away on April 6, 2026, at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. He was a longtime stamp collector and loved his Upshur County roots.

Earline Kay (Nester) Lynch, 81, of Buckhannon, formerly Arnoldsburg, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2026. She was known for her love for the Lord, devotion to her family, and gentle spirit.

Richard Junior Koon, 76, of Buckhannon, WV, died April 7, 2026, at home surrounded by family. He worked in the oil & gas industry and was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Pamela Thea Fidler, 69, of Buckhannon, died April 7, 2026, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was a retired FBI Crime Statistics Unit employee who loved cooking, crafting, reading, and traveling.

Judith Kay Elmer, 65, of French Creek, died on April 8, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She enjoyed watching westerns and working puzzle books.

Loretta June Reed, 79, of Tallmansville, WV, died April 5, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She was a machine operator at Moore Business Forms and is survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Phay Edward Tenney, II, 71, of Buckhannon, WV, died April 5, 2026, at his home. He worked 27 years at Union Drilling, owned T&T Gun Shop, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Buckhannon.
