SELBYVILLE — The second class of Leadership Upshur is excited to announce a Community Service Project Day scheduled for May 1, 2024, at the Upshur County Youth Camp, 76 Youth Camp Rd, Selbyville, WV 26236.

This day of service aims to restore camp trails and trail markers, clear brush and undertake indoor projects such as painting and other needed upgrades.

Leadership Upshur members will be spearheading the project, and they are inviting members of the community to join hands in this meaningful endeavor. Volunteers are needed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. during the day to ensure the success of the project. Whether you can spare an hour or the whole day, your help is invaluable in making a positive impact on the camp and the community.

They encourage all interested individuals to come together on May 1 to contribute to the enhancement of the Upshur County Youth Camp. For more information and to sign up for volunteer shifts, join the Facebook group. You can also become involved by emailing Kenna Whitcomb at whitcomb.k@wvwc.edu.
