Linda Kay Tenney

Linda Kay Tenney, age 72, of Tallmansville, died on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Crestview Manor Healthcare Center in Jane Lew. She was born March 9, 1954, in Elkins, WV, a daughter of the late Dale Wilson and Winifred Dell Currence Armstrong. She is survived by her husband, William Bonnie Tenney.

Also surviving are one daughter, Amy Sears and husband Andy of Buckhannon; one son, William Dale Tenney and wife Andrea of Tallmansville; five grandchildren: Brett Sears and wife Alexis, Amberlyn Sears, Hunter Tenney, Aiden Tenney, and Tanner Tenney; two great-grandchildren: Nolan and Kylah Sears; two brothers: Larry Armstrong and wife Barbara of Ohio and Thomas Armstrong and wife Jane of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.

Linda was a former employee of K-Mart in Elkins and Wal-Mart in Buckhannon, where she worked in the sporting goods department. She loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. She also loved to sew and cook.

Friends will be received at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 4-8 p.m. Graveside services and interment will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the Lanham Cemetery in Queens.
