Almost Heaven BBQ Bash comes to Buckhannon, offers two days of fun for the entire family

BUCKHANNON – The aroma of smoked meat and fried food is filling the air of downtown Buckhannon this weekend, June 16-17.

The Almost Heaven BBQ Bash has arrived at Jawbone Park with good food, family fun and BBQ on the mind.

This two day festival offers a variety of activities for the entire family; art cars, food vendors, bouncy houses, balloon artistry, a car show, face painting, a falconry exhibit and so much more.

The laughter of children consumed Jawbone Park Friday as they played in the abundance of bouncy houses and patiently waited in line to have their face painted.

Families were eager to witness the Dino-Roar Tour Show Friday afternoon. Guests could greet a prehistoric reptile while offering a friendly chin scratch and pose for photos.

The Almost Heaven BBQ Bash will offer additional exciting activities in downtown Buckhannon this Saturday, June 17 including a car show, a BBQ Bash Twirling Competition, live music, BBQ Competition Awards and more. See the full Almost Heaven BBQ Bash schedule here.
