Patrichia “Patty” Stump Hall

Patrichia “Patty” Stump Hall, age 89, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025, at her home with her family by her side.

She was born October 6, 1936, a daughter of late Telford H. Stump and Manoka P. Stump.

On April 18, 1957, she married Edwin E. “Bud” Hall who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son Teddy A. Hall (Susie) of Buckhannon; granddaughter, Ashley Hall of Florida; stepsons, Ricky D. Hall (Karla) of Florida and Rodney Hall (Mary Lee) of Fairmont, WV; stepdaughter, Vicky Jones (Blair) of Florida; sister, Joyce Gregory of Buckhannon; brother, Gregory A. Stump (Fay) of Hedgesville WV; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Stump of Buckhannon and Loretta Stump of Indiana PA; nephews, Jim Gregory Jr. (Diana), David Ted Stump (Rachel), Anthony Stump (Martha), Gregory C. Stump (Rebecca), Robert M. Stump (Jessica) and nieces, Nicole Sergent (Brent) of Martinsburg WV, Kara Jo Freeland (Rex) of Clarksburg, and Jennifer Stump of Baltimore MD.

In addition to her parents and husband, Patty was preceded in death by brothers, Fredrick (Gene) Stump, Robert (Mike) Stump, Telford (Ted) Stump Jr., and James (Jim) Gregory Sr.

When Mrs. Hall lived in California she worked for and retired from the Medical Physician’s Office. Patty had an adventurous spirit! She enjoyed riding her pink Harley Davidson Motorcycle from California to Buckhannon, WV with her husband, square dancing, and cheese popcorn.

She was a member of Betheny Baptist Church at Hall. Like her mother, Manoka, she had a love for cats, and her son was the light of her life.

Per her request she will be cremated, and memorial donations may be made to Upshur- Lewis Animal Shelter.
