Wrestling Little Bucs win Mid Mountain 10 Conference championship

FAIRMONT – The Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School Little Buc wrestling team recently won the Mid Mountain 10 Conference Championship at East Fairmont Middle School.

The Little Bucs had 10 wrestlers place in the championship including three taking top honors.

The three first-place wrestlers were Hunter Rohr (102 pounds), Alex Wamsley (116 pounds) and Trenton Ward (123 pounds).

Earning runner-up honors were Kevin Layman (70 pounds), Payton Brown (78 pounds), Preston Harris (145 pounds) and Eli Watkins (190 pounds).

Picking up third places were Tucker Mason (128 pounds), Kaidin Wagner (155 pounds) and Chance Morgan (171 pounds).

The Little Bucs are scheduled to compete again Saturday at the East Fairmont Duals at 9 a.m.
