Buckhannon-Upshur’s track and field Bucs turned in another strong relay showing at the Harry Green Invitational, placing top five in every relay event.
Buckhannon-Upshur’s Lady Bucs wrapped up the regular season with an eighth-place finish (40 points) at the Harry Green Invitational in Bridgeport. Rylen Carlye led the way with four top-five finishes, and the 4×800 relay posted the team’s best relay mark.
No. 2 Fairmont State swept No. 3 West Virginia Wesleyan 4-0 in Saturday’s MEC semifinal in Charleston. The Falcons grabbed the doubles point and rolled through singles wins from Moens, Haruto and Liedtke to punch their ticket to the 2026 MEC Championship.

West Virginia Wesleyan closed the regular season in style, sweeping Davis & Elkins on the road 9-1 and 6-5. The Bobcats powered a 13-hit opener highlighted by Dylan Neach’s three-run homer, then survived a late Senators rally to seal the doubleheader sweep.
