St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation to host 27th annual golf tournament

St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation will host its 27th annual golf tournament at Raven Golf Club on August 7, with proceeds supporting family health initiatives at WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital.

The St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation will be hosting their 27th Annual Golf Tournament on Thursday, Aug. 7 at the Raven Golf Club at Snowshoe Mountain. Registration starts at 9 a.m. with a 10 a.m. shotgun start. Teams will be provided a light breakfast, lunch on the course, dinner, and goodie bags. There will also be a Hospitality Suite the evening before.

Teams can come in at multiple sponsorship levels. The highest sponsorship level is the Title Sponsor at $3,500, which gives participants two foursomes in the tournament, as well as a full-page advertisement in the program, company logo on signage at check-in, and two hole sponsors. This level also gives companies the option to provide a logo giveaway item for the goodie bags. Gold sponsors at $2,000 get one foursome in the tournament, a half-page advertisement in the program, company logo on signage at check-in, one hole sponsor, and the option to provide a logo giveaway item. Silver sponsors at $1,500 receive one foursome, a half-page advertisement, and one hole sponsor.

Individuals or companies can also participate as hole sponsors for $200. Hole sponsors are listed on signage at one hole and are also listed in the program.

Teams are also given the option to purchase golf games and events ahead of the tournament, including mulligans, string, putting contest tickets, ball drop tickets, and 50/50 raffle tickets.

Anyone can purchase ball drop tickets or 50/50 raffle tickets, regardless of team participation. Individuals do not need to be present to win.

Proceeds from the tournament will be used for equipment and other items at WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital. This year’s fundraising focus is on the entire family, supporting the health of family members in the community from birth on up.

Registration deadline is July 11. For anyone interested in putting in a team, please reach out to 304-473-6819 or email Golf@WVUMedicine.org.
