Sam’s Pizza takes over lead in Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League standings

TENNERTON – There was another big shake up in the Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League standings this week after previous third place Sam’s Pizza picked up a big win over last week’s leader Custom Cabinets.

Sam’s Pizza defeated Custom Cabinets by a 25-15 score to leapfrog into first place with 84 points while Custom Cabinets dropped all the way to fifth place with 81 1/2 points.

Highland Landscaping also made a big move, going grom sixth place to second with 84 points after a 28-12 victory over High Point Construction.

Feola’s Flowers remained in second place, now tied with Highland Landscaping with 84 points despite a 20 ½-19 ½ setback to Hank Ellis Insurance, who stayed in fourth place with 83 ½ points.

In the other match of the week, First Community Bank downed Lisa Cain Edward Jones by a 23-17 score.

Brian Gaudet of First Community Bank and Howard Feola of Feola’s Flowers each won Low Actual honors for the week with identical 37s while Gaudet claimed Low Net honors with a 31.
