Ralph’s Furniture remains unbeaten in Upshur County Summer Basketball League

TENNERTON – The Upshur County Summer Basketball League began Week Three of action on Monday and Tuesday, playing inside the auxiliary gym at Buckhannon-Upshur High School.

On Monday, game one saw Strategy IT defeat Dairy Queen by a 60-57 score as Tyler Kuhn led Strategy IT with 22 points while Austin Upton scored a game-high 33 points for Dairy Queen.

In game two, Blades & Fades downed CPImagery by a 57-53 count as Darius Dillard tallied 21 points for Blades & Fades while Storm Workman paced CPImagery with 13 points. Blades & Fades came back to pick up another win in game three as they defeated AMTC by a 66-36 score.

Trey Key scored a game-high 33 points for Blades & Fades while Skyler Carlton and Chris Confere each had 10 points for AMTC.

Tuesday’s opener saw KBAM Builders nip Sam’s Pizza by a 65-62 score, with Logan Bailey leading the way for KBAM Builders with 17 points while Jaden Westfall led Sam’s Pizza with 16 points.

The second game was a shootout with Ralph’s Furniture remaining unbeaten while defeating TKS Contracting by an 85-78 score with Adrian Summerfield scoring a game-high 35 points; meanwhile, Wade Britton tallied 28 points for TKS Contracting.

In the finale on Tuesday, TKS Contracting downed CEC by an 83-79 score with Joe Nichols scoring 20 for TKS Contracting while Drew Holcomb paced CEC with 21 points.
