BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Mountain East Conference Men’s Tennis Championship seeds and matchups have been set following the conclusion of the regular season.
The University of Charleston, which finished 11-7 and 6-0 in league play, claimed the MEC regular season championship and the top overall seed. The Golden Eagles will host No. 4 Davis & Elkins this coming Saturday, May 2nd at 9:30 a.m. at the Schoenbaum Tennis Courts in Charleston, West Virginia. No. 2 Fairmont State and No. 3 West Virginia Wesleyan will meet in the other semifinal, which is scheduled for 12 p.m.
The semifinal winners will meet in the MEC Championship on Sunday, May 3, with a start time set for 12 p.m.

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The University of Charleston women’s tennis team finished the regular season undefeated and captured the 2026 Mountain East Conference regular season championship once again. The Golden Eagles will be the No. 1 seed in next weekend’s MEC Championship at the Schoenbaum Tennis Courts in Charleston, West Virginia.
UC, which finished 12-7 overall and 6-0 in MEC play, will face No. 4 Frostburg State on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The other semifinal — No. 2 Fairmont State vs. No. 3 West Virginia Wesleyan — will follow at noon.
The MEC championship will be played Sunday, May 3 at 3:30 p.m.
