BUCKHANNON — West Virginia Wesleyan’s women’s tennis team took a hard-fought 4-3 win over West Virginia State University in its final team match of the season at the Wood Street Tennis Courts in Buckhannon.
After dropping the doubles match then falling in #1 and #2 singles matches, the Lady Bobcats rebounded with victories across the final four pairings to take the victory and end the season 15-6.

The Bobcat men’s tennis toppled West Virginia State University 7-0, Friday. This was State’s first shutout loss of the season.
The regular season ends for Wesleyan and the Bobcats now wait to see where their 14-7 record places them in the Mountain East Conference Tournament.
