Fred Brooks Garden Club holding pancake breakfast benefit Saturday

The Fred Brooks Garden Club will hold a benefit Pancake Breakfast at C.J. Maggie’s, 16 East Main Street in Buckhannon, on Saturday, October 26, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. 

Cost is $5 per person for two pancakes, two sausage links, orange juice or coffee.  All proceeds go to fund the non-profit club’s mission of promoting civic beautification and the love of gardening, encouraging youth conservation and education, providing a scholarship for a youth to attend the W.Va. Conservation Camp each June and providing landscaping/flower planting at public facilities (Upshur County Courthouse, Fred Brooks Park, and the Upshur County Health Department, Blue Star Memorial Parkway sign).  

Buy tickets ahead of time from Garden Club Members or come on down that morning and support the club and enjoy some pancakes. Take out will be available.
