Custom Cabinets widens lead in men’s golf league standings

TENNERTON – Custom Cabinets opened up their lead in the second quarter of the 2022 Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Men’s Golf League standings.

Custom Cabinets earned a 20-13 ½ victory over Hank Ellis Insurance as they took a 6 ½ point lead with 61 ½ points.

UniFirst Corporation remained in second place with 56 points despite dropping a 17-14 ½ decision to Feola’s Flowers.

High Point Construction moved up one spot from fourth to third place after picking up a 20-12 ½ victory over Sam’s Pizza.

Baker Tilly also moved up one spot from fifth to fourth place with an 18 ½-13 ½ victory over Highland Landscaping.

In the other match of the week, First Community Bank downed Lisa Cain Edward Jones by a 19 1/2-12 ½ count.

Owen Bragg of Baker Tilly clamed Low Actual honors with a 36 and Low Net honors with a 30.
