Zoot swings into Elkins for community give back event in August

Elkins, W.Va. — Davis Health System Foundation will welcome Dr. Zoot from Pittsburgh to perform live at the Rotary Amphitheater in the Elkins Town Square August 21 from 6-9 p.m. at the Vibe and Jive Event.

The Vibe and Jive event will have family-fun activities from 3:30-5:30 p.m. that include arts and crafts, yoga, and interactive educational activities for children. A cash raffle will be held to raise funds for the Davis Health System Foundation.

The event will also host a number of Food Trucks with food and beverages available for purchase.

The DHS Foundation planned the free event in recognition of the support provided to its hospitals and community healthcare and front-line workers throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

“There was an overwhelming outpouring of kind gestures and support from our communities throughout the pandemic. It meant so much to our employees. This is the Foundation’s way of saying thanks and giving back,” said Mike Bell, Executive Director of Davis Health System Foundation.
