CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Department of Education has made an adjustment to data released as part of the annual certified count. This is due to a change in HOPE scholarship data obtained after the information was distributed.
The number of students enrolled in West Virginia public schools is 245,047. This is a decrease of 54 students from the original number published. Please make note of this in future reporting of certified count data.
