William “Bill” Perkins, age 69, of Tallmansville, WV, died Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV.

He was born November 13, 1952, in Buckhannon, WV, a son of Mary J. Cassell Perkins of Buckhannon and the late Guy Foley Perkins. Surviving are two brothers, Guy Perkins, Jr. and wife Wanda of Sanford, FL, Virgil Perkins and wife Susie of Buckhannon; five sisters, Marie Chestnut and husband Bernard of White Sulphur Springs, WV, Edith Given and husband Johnny of Buckhannon, Jean Smallridge and husband Nolan of Ten Mile and Patricia Zickefoose and Jacqueline Wamsley and husband Rev. Michael all of Buckhannon and several nieces and nephews.

Bill was a school bus driver for the Upshur County Board of Education for 30 years.

Friends will be received Friday, October 28, 2022, from 5 to 7 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 7 PM at the funeral home with the Rev. Tim Lewis officiating. In honoring his wishes, Mr. Perkins will be cremated after the services.
