BUCKHANNON – Just in time for the holidays, Caroline’s Closet has launched a new line of apparel and jewelry.

The women’s apparel and accessory specialty boutique carries the latest fashion trends, so naturally, Caroline’s Closet is updating its wardrobe offerings as late fall turns to early winter. Lisa Karickhoff, director of e-commerce and marketing for Caroline’s Closet, said the store just obtained a series of new winter items that launched on their website – click here to see all the goods – Sunday, Nov. 22.

“We had everything launch on Sunday at 5 p.m., so they can go ahead and hop on the website and see what we got from market, but it’s a lot of jackets, sweaters, basic tops, beanies, scarves and then we have about 50 to 75-plus new jewelry items as well,” Karickhoff said.

Right now, shoppers can also hop on Caroline’s Closet’s site and find an array of comfy loungewear sets that in some cases come with a free gift of chenille socks.

Then, starting Black Friday, Nov. 27 and through Monday, Nov. 30, Caroline’s Closet will be offering a free bracelet with a $50 purchase and a bracelet-and-necklace duo with $100 purchase. What’s more, most merchandise will be 25 to 35 percent off, excluding some new arrivals.

“The shop local aspect is really important this year, because obviously it’s been a crazy year for small businesses,” Karickhoff said. “We really appreciate it when people shop locally anytime, but especially during these crazy times. I also think we have a lot of unique pieces that people aren’t going to be able to find at the mall or a big box store or anything like that.”

Located in the Northridge Plaza, Caroline’s Closet is currently open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and closed on Sunday. Karickhoff said they will change to their holiday hours in December and will announce them on Facebook.

“We do have a lot of options for people if they don’t like buying clothes as gifts for other people because of sizing and other concerns like that,” Karickhoff said. “Those options include beanies, scarves and we have some slippers and slipper socks, so things like that always make good gifts and stocking stuffers.”
