My Buckhannon is looking for freelance writers who love their town and want to help share what’s happening in it.
We’re interested in people who enjoy writing about local events, community issues, interesting neighbors and the small stories that make Buckhannon and Upshur County what they are. You don’t have to be a trained journalist — just curious, honest and able to clearly communicate in writing.
These are freelance, per-story paid positions. Writers work as independent contractors and can contribute as often as their schedule allows.
