BUCKHANNON, West Virginia – This Sunday, December 12, 2021, at 3 p.m. in Wesley Chapel, West Virginia Wesleyan College’s Director of Religious and Spiritual Life, Rev. Jonathan Acord, will be hosting a Service to Remember and Honor. The service, which will include scripture reading and singing, will be similar to a Blue Christmas service, however, it will be oriented around the community and around reflection.

“Those who attend the service will have the opportunity to remember and honor what has been lost, and that does not just have to be a person, “Acord said. “It could be a job, financial support, or anything that anyone in the community has lost.”

The service will be held in partnership with local hospice, churches and health care providers, who are doing this for the community and want to recognize all organizations who help the community.
