Wesley Wayne Depoy

Wesley Wayne Depoy, 81, of Hinkle Ridge Road, the Alexander community, died at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown on Saturday, October 17, 2020. 

He was born in Alton on October 11, 1939, a son of the late Charles and Della Howes Depoy. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by six brothers: Charles, Will, Clyde, John, Ralph, and Walter “Buck” Depoy and two sisters: Vera and Virgie.

He is survived by one daughter; one sister Mary Russell of Belvidere, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

Wesley was a legend of his time in the community of Alexander. He was loved by everyone and well known for his moonshine. He enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. 

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at 3 p.m., at the Alton Campground with a graveside service to follow at the Indian Camp Cemetery with Pastor Jason Depoy officiating.
