Warm Wishes Tree to offer free gloves, hats at SYCC

The Upshur County Family Resource Network and Stockert Youth and Community Center are teaming up to create a Warm Wishes Tree in front of SYCC.

They are accepting new or gently used/clean mittens, gloves, scarves and hats to be put on a “tree” outside so anyone who needs warm clothing can access it. The plan is to leave the tree up through the cold weather, but donations are needed ASAP to get it started, and also donations will be needed to keep the tree stocked.

You can look for good sales while you are shopping and pick up some new gear if you like. If not, do your closet a favor and clean it out for a good cause. They are accepting all sizes (children and adult). Please drop off your donations at SYCC at the UCFRN office.

Help warm our community!
