Erica Williams, owner and founder of Sunbeams & Moonshine Creations in Talcott, will be showcasing her permanent jewelry at the WV Hive booth at the 46th annual Bridge Day on October 17.
Sunbeams & Moonshine Creations offers customers the opportunity to choose a chain that is custom-fit and welded specifically for them. An assortment of charms and connectors is available for the bracelets, as well as handmade earrings and other small jewelry craft items.
“Participating in Bridge Day 2026 is a huge step for my business,” said Williams. “It means thousands of people from all over the world will learn about my business and permanent jewelry. Exposure alone will be incredibly beneficial for future events. I am over the moon excited to be a part of it, and showing up to overcome fears and obstacles is part of the fun of owning a business.”
Williams will be joined at the booth by her daughter, Jaden Mounts, whom she credits as being a huge help in the growth of the small business. Sunbeams & Moonshine was started in December 2025 and, according to Williams, business is picking up.
“Seeing how much I have accomplished in less than a year motivates me to see what the future brings,” said Williams. “Business is going well, and I feel it is about to continue to grow and flourish. Each new event gets better, and I take each one as a learning experience to improve. From October 9th through the 11th, I will also be at Railroad Days in Hinton showcasing my jewelry.”
Williams noted that the West Virginia Hive, the entrepreneurship program of the New River Gorge Regional Development Authority, has assisted in her success. “The WV Hive has helped me practice self-accountability, set goals, and reach thousands of potential clients,” she added.
The West Virginia Hive will also showcase five other clients at its booth – The Wooly Gorge in Oak Hill; Mariposa Hollow in Glen Morgan; Hinton Outfitters in Hinton; Kraken Glass N Crafts in Talcott; and Wild & Untamed Things in Alderson.
Devon Fitzgerald, regional business advisor with the West Virginia Hive, invites Bridge Day visitors to stop by the WV Hive booth to meet the entrepreneurs and learn more about their unique products and services.
Booths are open to the public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. during Bridge Day 2026 at the New River Gorge in Fayette County.
