Upshur Schools WVDE mentor outlines comprehensive school audit process

Buckhannon-Upshur’s girls lacrosse attack stayed red-hot, rolling past John Marshall 21-1 behind goals from nine different Lady Bucs. Chloe Bennett and Grace Moreland scored four each as B-U dominated 36-5 in shots on goal to improve to 4-1.

Buckhannon-Upshur lacrosse split a pair of road games, falling 20-6 to unbeaten Morgantown before bouncing back with a 15-6 win over Mountain State. Tobias Marple paced the Bucs in both games, and keeper Gage Scott totaled 22 saves as B-U moved to 3-4.

Buckhannon-Upshur split Big 10 matches this week, falling 4-3 at East Fairmont after adjusting to the plastic courts before bouncing back with a dominant 6-1 win over Fairmont Senior.

Ramesh Daggubati, M.D., a WVU Heart and Vascular Institute cardiology leader, received the “Beacon of India” Award March 21 in New Delhi for exceptional achievement and global impact.
