Upshur County 2020 General Election Results

The polls in West Virginia have closed for the 2020 General Election and officials are currently tabulating results at the Upshur County Courthouse.

In early voting, county clerk Carol Smith said of the 1,906 absentee ballots requested, 1,829 were returned. A total of 4,051 people cast in-person early ballots.

With all precincts reporting, total voter turnout in Upshur County was 70.98.

The results are preliminary, with the canvass set to begin Monday, Nov. 9. Mail-in ballots postmarked today can also still be counted under West Virginia law.
