Two way tie for first as fourth-quarter action gets underway in Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League

TENNERTON – Following a postponement of the start of the fourth-quarter because of rain last week, Lisa Cain Edward Jones and UniFirst Corporation raced out to a first place tie Wednesday evening in the opening week of the final quarter in the Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League standings.

Both have 20 points as Lisa Cain Edward Jones beat Sam’s Pizza by a 20-13 ½ score and UniFirst Corporation downed Highland Landscaping by a 20-12 count.

Feola’s Flowers landed in third place after beating First Community Bank by an 18-12 score.

Baker Tilly is in fourth place after a 17 ½-16 ½ victory over Custom Cabinets.

High Point Construction resides in fifth place with a 17-16 win over Hank Ellis Insurance.

Doug Garrett of UniFirst Corporation, John Moss of Custom Cabinets and Stephen Jeran of Hank Ellis Insurance all secured Low Actual honors with 37s while Chris Critchfield of Feola’s Flowers and Mike Tetrick of High Point Construction earned Low Net honors with 32s.
