Travel alert: Bridge by City Hall will be closed Wednesday for railroad work

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. — The West Virginia Department of Highways has informed the City of Buckhannon Street Department that the railroad will be closing North Florida Street from the Main Street intersection to the other side of the J.D Hinkle Jr. Memorial Bridge, beside of City Hall, on Wednesday, August 11, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Street Commissioner Brad Hawkins is asking all travelers to use alternate routes that day and would like to thank everyone in advance for their understanding and cooperation.
