Thomas D. Loudin, 74, of French Creek, W.Va., died Thursday, August 12, 2021, at his home.
He was born April 9, 1947, in Upshur County, W.Va., a son of the late George and Lucille Burr Loudin.
On November 4, 1993, he married Alice Whaley who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Lightning Riffle and wife Virginia; one daughter, Tammy Perrine and husband Robert; two granddaughters, Christina Cutright and husband Allan and Sky Marie Riffle; four grandsons, Ridge Mountain Cutright and wife Tiffani, Storm, Sky Thomas and Chase Lighting Riffle; special friends, Jeff Tobuck and brother Jim Fitzgerald, Lester Stieding, brother Karl and sister Erika Kolenich, brother Donnie Brown, brother Roger Riffle, brother Jim White and sister Jennifer White and many other neighbors and friends.
Mr. Loudin was a Heavy Equipment Operator. He was a member of God’s Church; “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” (Matthew 18:20 NKJV)
Tom was a lifelong learner and a jack of all trades and was always serving others. He was an avid beekeeper, outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and 4-wheeling. He was proud of and loved his family. Tom was a friend to everyone, with a heart of gold and full of forgiveness. With Tom it was all about love.
Partners in crime Buzz, Daryl, Nici, Sabrina, Merissa and Larry Alderman, who gave me the best present in my life…Tom, at my wedding. Tom will be missed by many… journey on.
In honoring Mr. Loudin’s wishes he will be cremated.
