BUCKHANNON – My Buckhannon is proud to present another edition of the Hank Ellis All-Stars. Each week we will select a male and female athlete at Buckhannon-Upshur who has had an exemplary week on the football field, soccer field, volleyball court, golf course or the cross-country course.
Our Hank Ellis All-Stars for the week of Sept. 18 – Sept. 24 are Easton Perkins and Alyssa Abel.
Perkins is a junior on the Buccaneer golf team. Perkins earned First-Team All-Conference honors after finishing second at the Big 10 Conference Championships. He carded a 76, just four-over par at the Tygart Lake Golf Course.
Abel is a junior on the Lady Buc volleyball team. In a split against Doddridge County and Pendleton County in a home tri-outing, Abel, had a team-high six kills and a block in a 2-0 sweep over Doddridge County, Against Pendleton County, she led the team with five kills.
Congratulations to Perkins and Abel as our weekly winners of the Hank Ellis All-Stars honor.
