Buckhannon-Upshur High School has released its second quarter honor roll for the 2025-26 school year. Students with a 4.0+ GPA earned Distinguished Honor Roll honors, while those with a 3.5–3.99 GPA made the Honor Roll.

Shirley McCord, 90, passed away on February 14, 2026. She is survived by her sons, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter. A graveside service will be held February 17, 2026, at Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
