The West Virginia State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) is hosting an informational webinar for their annual Survey & Planning Grant. This funding is designated for conducting architectural and archaeological surveys, nominating historic properties to the National Register of Historic Places and drafting pre-development plans.

The funding source for this grant program is the Historic Preservation Fund from the National Park Service. Applicants may be state or local government agencies, not-for-profit organizations, private citizens, religious organizations, educational institutions or Certified Local Governments. All applications are due on Oct. 31, 2024, via our virtual application portal.
