St. Joseph’s Hospital to open Ophthalmology Clinic to provide care for those with cataracts

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. — St. Joseph’s Hospital will be opening an Ophthalmology Clinic to provide care for those with cataracts. 

Allison Bardes, MD;  Lingo Lai, MD;  Thomas Mauger, MD;  and Lee A. Wiley, MD, from the WVU Eye Institute will be performing the surgeries. The cataract surgery will be done at St. Joseph’s Hospital and surgery patients will be seen for follow-up care in the clinic in Buckhannon. 

The clinic is scheduled to open the beginning of October and scheduling of patients will begin in September.
