Rocky Randall Wamsley

Rocky Randall Wamsley, age 67, a resident of Pointe Drive, Buckhannon, died Thursday, December 21, 2023, at his home.

He was born on July 13, 1956, in Buckhannon, a son of the late Ralph Ronsdale Wamsley, Jr. and Rachel Ann Wolfe Wamsley.

On October 21, 2006, he was united in marriage to Lora Kay Page Wamsley, who survives at home. Also surviving are four sons: Rocky Wamsley, II and wife Ashley of Buckhannon, Rusty Wamsley of Buckhannon, and Garrett and Isaiah Wamsley both of the home; one daughter Rita Wamsley and companion Kellen of Jacksonville, FL; six grandchildren: Ethan, Reese, Evan, Raven, and Lillie Wamsley, and Maycee Fox; three brothers: Michael W. Wamsley and wife Jacqueline, Timothy D. Wamsley and wife Candace, and Dion C. Wamsley and wife Nancy all of Buckhannon; one sister Deborah A. Kelley and husband Thomas of Buckhannon; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter Rochele Rayne Page-Wamsley.

Rocky was a mechanic at the Bill Kelley Chevrolet dealership for many years.

The body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 2:00 PM, at the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel.
