RESCHEDULED: Division of Highways to hold virtual public meeting on Richwood Sidewalk Design project; Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021

CHARLESTON, WV – The West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) will hold a virtual public meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021 for the proposed project on East Main Street (WV-39/WV-55) to improve pedestrian and vehicular safety. The sidewalk that is proposed to be replaced is located on the north side of East Main Street, beginning approximately 134 feet east of Oakford Avenue (CR-7) and continuing eastward for approximately 1,389 linear feet. The project is needed to replace uneven and damaged sidewalk that is not Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant. The meeting will provide an overview of the proposed improvements, including project plans, as well as visual site renderings.
