Police make three arrests after locating two individuals wanted for failing to appear in court

On March 10, 2021 at approximately 12 p.m., officers from the Upshur County Sheriff’s Office and West Virginia State Police (Buckhannon detachment) arrested two fugitives at a residence located on Sauls Run who were wanted for failure to appear in Upshur County Circuit Court — Ashley Johnson, 28, of Buckhannon and Hannah McCartney, 32, of Buckhannon.

Also located at the residence was Randal Shingleton, 32, of French Creek, who was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, heroin, and possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription.
