Paul Lee Ringer

Paul Lee Ringer, age 64, of Buckhannon, WV died Friday, July 26, 2024, in Summersville, WV. He was born July 1, 1960, in Buckhannon, a son of the late Donald B. and Emelean Bird Smith Quick.

On October 7, 1979, he married Rhonda Bowser who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Nicholas Ringer and wife Natalie, Joshua Ringer and Adam Ringer and wife Clarissa all of Buckhannon; nine grandchildren, Cadence, Nathaniel, Skylee, Levi, Graden, Aria, Zaylee, Grant and AJ Ringer all of Buckhannon; one brother, David Carl Ringer and wife Lynda of Buckhannon; two sisters, Pamela Joy Hoover and Sondra Lynn Davidson both of Buckhannon; extended family, Charles Quick and wife Debbie, Arden Quick and wife Marylyn all of Buckhannon and Brenda Pennington of Thomas, WV and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by extended family member Karen Quick.

Mr. Ringer, as a young entrepreneur, purchased WV Mould Shop and by 1995 he became the youngest master mould maker, model maker and pattern maker for the glass industry in North America, which put him in the history books of West Virginia University. In the early 2000’s he dabbled in the wood industry and then started Ringer’s Inc in 2010.

Paul attended the Independent United Brethren Church in Buckhannon and loved his family very much, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed camping, hunting, swimming and riding 4-wheelers and side by sides at camp with family and friends.

Friends will be received Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 3 PM to 9 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at noon on Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev Junior Harris and the Rev Holt Poling officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hermon Church Cemetery.
