Lucille K. Cutright, age 71, of Buckhannon, WV, died Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at her residence.
She was born on February 4, 1955, in Buckhannon, WV, a daughter of the late Floyd Vincent and Rose Anne Shreve Cutright.
She is survived by one brother, Mark Cutright of Jane Lew; three sisters, Katha Bond of Christiansburg, VA, Ione Bender and husband David of Tallmansville, and Jeanie Peggs and husband Terry of Mt. Solon, VA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lucille was deeply committed to the well-being of her neighbors, regularly organizing social activities, church services, and special events at the Buckhannon Manor, bringing joy and connection to residents and visitors alike.
The family will receive friends at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 10–11:00 a.m., the funeral hour, with Pastor Tim Lewis officiating. A private family interment will follow in the Tallmansville Baptist Cemetery.
