Ashley Ryan Spencer, age 53, of Kanawha Head, WV, died Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon, WV.
He was born September 13, 1973, in Buckhannon, a son of Paul and Sylvia Rice Spencer of Kanawha Head, WV.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Nathan Spencer and wife Olivia of French Creek, WV; four grandchildren, Jeremiah, Joy, Faith and Luke Spencer, all of French Creek; and one brother, Shane Spencer and wife Jill of Buckhannon.
Mr. Spencer was a Christian by faith and formerly worked at Corhart Refractories in Buckhannon. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Friends will be received Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. In honoring Mr. Spencer’s wishes, he will be cremated following the funeral service.
