Morgantown native wins Miss West Virginia USA 2022 title

BUCKHANNON — From choosing their gowns to claiming their crowns in their respective divisions, two West Virginia women were ecstatic to learn they had been chosen as the newest Miss West Virginia USA and Miss West Virginia Teen USA.

Krystian Leonard, of Morgantown, won the 2022 title in the Miss division, while Williamstown native Emma Kitchen earned the 2022 title in the Teen division. The Miss West Virginia Teen USA and Miss West Virginia USA statewide pageant took place June 3-5 at West Virginia Wesleyan College, wrapping up late Sunday afternoon in the Virginia Thomas Law Center for the Performing Arts.
