TENNERTON – Two news teams emerged as leaders of the Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League standings in week two action.
Highland Landscaping and First Community Back both share the lead with 42 ½ points after Highland Landscaping downed Hank Ellis Insurance by a 22-18 score and First Community Bank won a 23-17 verdict over Lynx WV.
Lisa Cain Edward Jones and last week’s leader Sunset Graphics are tied for third place with 42 points.
Lisa Cain Edward Jones defeated High Point Construction by a 22-18 score while Sunset Graphics dropped a 24-16 decision to Feola’s Flowers.
In the other match of the week, Sam’s Pizza downed Custom Cabinets by a 25-15 score.
Steve Hollen of First Community Bank won Low Actual honors with a 38 while Ben Leigh of First Community Bank and David Powers of Hank Ellis Insurance shared Low Net honors with identical 34s.
