Linda Post, 74, of Hodgesville, W.Va., died Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.
She was born May 24, 1947, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Brennie and Jennie Miller Karickhoff.
On June 20, 1965, she married Benjamin Post who survives. Also surviving are one son, Rodney Post and partner Andres Salazar of San Francisco, Calif.; one daughter, Christena Post of Sterling, Va.; one grandson, Rylan Davis of Sterling; one brother, Donald Karickhoff and wife Penny of Hodgesville and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Gerald, Richard and Gene Karickhoff; one sister, Wanda Carrico and an infant sister, Mildred Jean Karickhoff.
Mrs. Post was a secretary for the Upshur County Board of Education and was a Methodist by faith. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson.
Friends will be received Saturday, August 7, 2021, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon.
