Kestrel Issue 40 celebration set for April 12-13 at Fairmont State

Kestrel: A Journal of Literature and Art, the Fairmont State University Department of Language and Literature, and the Frank and Jane Gabor West Virginia Folklife Center will launch Issue 40 with a two-day celebration.

On Friday, April 12, at 2 p.m., visiting writers will participate in a panel discussion in Jaynes Hall 310. A reception and readings will take place at the Frank and Jane Gabor West Virginia Folklife Center from 5:30-8 p.m.

Readings and book-signings will take place at Joe ‘N Throw in downtown Fairmont from 2-4 p.m. on  Saturday, April 13. Some featured writers include Sally Rosen Kindred, Gerry LaFemina, Rob McKean, Matt Miller, Erik Peterschmidt, Nancy Takacs, and more. Events are free and open to the public.
