The City of Buckhannon advises residents of the following service changes due to winter weather conditions:
- The Transfer Station will be closed on Monday, January 26.
- Residential garbage pickup is cancelled for Monday, January 26.
- Monday’s residential garbage pickup will take place on Friday, January 30, weather and conditions permitting.
- Commercial garbage pickup will proceed as scheduled, barring any unforeseen issues.
Buckhannon City Hall will also be closed Monday.
The city appreciates everyone’s patience and understanding as crews work through current conditions. Residents are asked to share this information with neighbors who may be affected.
