Joshua Eldon Dennison, age 41, of Buckhannon, WV, died Monday, July 3, 2023, at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

He was born April 20, 1982, in Morgantown, a son of Juanita Hewitt Smith of Buckhannon and the late William Bradley Weaver. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step-father, Michael Smith of Buckhannon; one sister, Patricia Wilson of Tabor City, NC; two half-brothers, Billy Weaver of OH and Robby Weaver of Hot Springs, VA; special friend, Roxanne Petrella of Fairmont, WV; one step-brother, Christopher Smith of Las Vegas, NV; one step-sister, Kelli Johnston and husband Kris of Buckhannon and several nieces and nephews.

Josh was a member of the NRA and the NWTF. He loved hunting, fishing, boating, Jeeping, and 4-wheeling. Josh loved life.

Friends will be received Monday, July 10, 2023, from 5 to 7 PM at The Way of Holiness Church in Buckhannon. A funeral service will follow at 7 PM with Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating. Burial will be 10 AM Tuesday in the Reger Chapel Church Cemetery on the Brushy Fork Road in Buckhannon.
