Jenna Jo Davis, 16, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Sunday, October 13, 2019, in Buckhannon.
She was born February 25, 2003, in Lewis County, W.Va., a daughter of Debora Nicola Davis of Buckhannon and the late James Huffman Davis.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by four sisters, Jamie McCourt, Chelsea Loudin and husband Josh, Isabella Davis and Taylor Kelley all of Buckhannon; four brothers, Dash, Asher, Drake and Brody Davis all of Buckhannon; two nieces, Lilly Snider of Buckhannon and Haley Loudin of Ohio; one nephew, Odin McCourt of Buckhannon; uncles, Chuck Davis and wife Diane of FL and Rod Davis and wife Jamie of Buckhannon; one aunt, Mindy Gaylor and husband Les of Texas; several cousins, beloved dogs, Mila, Halo and Cooper and she was recently reunited with her biological father, Eddie Bennington and wife Jessica of Rock Cave, W.Va. and two half-brothers, Wesley and Jeremiah Bennington both of Rock Cave.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Charles and Nancy Davis.
Jenna was a member of the South Buckhannon Mission Church, an employee of Brake’s Dairy King and a student at Buckhannon-Upshur High School. She loved animals, running and 4-wheeler riding.
Friends will be received Thursday, October 17, 2019, from 2 to 9 p.m. at the South Buckhannon Mission Church. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the church with Pastor Ed Lowther officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
