Jeffrey Allen McDaniels

Jeffrey Allen McDaniels, 55, of Morgantown, died Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at Mon General Hospital in Morgantown.

Also surviving are one sister Jackie McDaniels of Buckhannon; two uncles:  Wesley Duncan and Carl McDaniels and wife Shirley; one aunt Evelyn Miller of Charleston, W.Va.; and several cousins.

Jeff graduated Buckhannon-Upshur High School with the Class of 1982 and received a B.S. degree from WVU in 1986.  He was an avid Mountaineer fan and loved living in Morgantown where he had a “front-row seat” to the many WVU sporting events.

He had been employed in retail management for many years with positions in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Virginia, Tennessee, and Ohio.  He was currently employed at Huntington Bank in Morgantown, and will be sorely missed by his coworkers there.

Family and friends will remember his ability to strike up a conversation with anyone and his love for telling jokes.

The body will be cremated.  A private memorial service will be held with the Rev. Helen Oates officiating.  Interment will be in the Heavner Cemetery.

Online condolences may be extended to the McDaniels family at www.heavnerandcutright.com. The McDaniels family entrusted the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel & Cremation Service with the arrangements.
