James “Bobby” Robert McKinley

James “Bobby” Robert McKinley, 32, of Buckhannon, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 2, 2022, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

He was born in Weston on October 24, 1989, a son of James Paul and Janie Lovonne Golden McKinley of Buckhannon. Bobby was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Madaline and Paul McKinley; and maternal grandmother, Rosie Golden.

Forever cherishing their memories of Bobby’s loyal nature with his parents are his wife, Roxanne Marie Warner McKinley; three children: Troy Warner, Bryson McKinley, and Riley McKinley; one sister, Rachel McKinley; one niece, Abigail McKinley; and one nephew, Zachary Simmons.

Bobby attended Buckhannon-Upshur High School and was Christian by faith. He enjoyed playing video games and listening to music. Bobby’s favorite genre was rap music and he especially liked Eminem. He was currently employed as a cook at The Huddle House and formerly worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken. Above all was his love for his children, niece, and nephew. His favorite hobby was spending time with his children and family. Bobby was known to be quiet and reserved, but willing to help others

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to: Clutter Funeral and Cremation, 21 Elnora Circle, Buckhannon, WV  26201, to aid with final expenses.

Bobby’s request for Cremation has been honored. Family and friends will gather at Clutter Funeral and Cremation located at 21 Elnora Circle in Buckhannon from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 12 p.m. in the Clutter Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ed McDaniels officiating.
