Jackie Ray Wilfong

Jackie Ray Wilfong, 80, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Sunday, December 29, 2019, at the Louis A. Johnson V.A. Medical Center in Clarksburg, W.Va.

He was born September 9, 1939, in Ten Mile, W.Va., a son of the late Wanita M. Wilfong.

On May 26, 1966, he married Katherine Connie Wilfong of Buckhannon, who survives.

Also surviving is his son, Christopher Ray Wilfong of Buckhannon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Wilfong and two sisters, Ruth Spangler and Sherry DeBarr.

Mr. Wilfong worked at Shannon’s Hardware for 19 years and then retired from American Furniture after 15 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army. 

In honoring Mr. Wilfong’s wishes, he will be cremated.
